About Me

The Full Story

What's your story you need to share? For me, it’s raising learning disabled children and sharing with you some of the hurdles, heartaches, and wins I've experienced while raising my five children, four of them who have learning disabilities. I myself am dyslexic and have worked extremely hard to overcome obstacles both in the school setting and outside to get to where I am at. I've led support groups for parents with children with disabilities, and I have even written a book titled, "A Parent's Guide to Raising Learning Disabled Children."

I have had speaking engagements with college students training to become teachers, parents, and I have even presented at the Chicago Public Schools on how educators, professionals and parents can work together to better serve the learning disabled. As a passionate advocate, I would love to come speak to your group about how to tear down some of the barriers and start forming meaningful connections to do better for the learning disabled.

Sharing how to better serve and advocate for those who learn differently is truly my passion project, gaining more and more traction each day. Take a look around. I'd love to connect to see how we can better serve children!
